You have laid out your flickr stills a bit confusingly. Please make sure it's clear which are from your trailer and which are from real trailers, and also NAME ALL the films that you have taken trailer stills from.
ReplyDeleteAnother issue is that you have focused on horror genre conventions (and actually I don't think you should have covered all that many of them in your analysis). However you should also explore TRAILER conventions and how you used these. I think the best way to improve this is to review our work on both horror conventions and trailer conventios and to add a lot more. You can just WRITE about trailer conventions (narrative, identification, creating a buildup, etc etc - you have several sectios of notes on them) and your use of them into the blog post - don't worry about more stills. In general your writing is usually better than this Tom.
